my dad always say that I'm not working hard enough in studies and always loves to compare me the lousy daughter with his awesome almost perfect son. what else can i say? i whispered to myself, 'how i wish I'm dead right now.' although i want my dad to hear me but it was too soft for anyone to notice. sigh. comparison just makes me weaker, it isn't a form of positive encouragement. this is a mistake where most Singaporean parents make. compare their own child/children with other who are usually better. hoping they can induce their child in thinking to be the best.

i may not be able to get into a university like brother did but I'm still your daughter. what choice do you have. orhh this sounds bad. anyway i enjoy most of the time I'm hanging outside more than staying home and this is also probably why i love so much about my boyfriend. he is the one who care but hardly intimidate me with horrible discouraging words. ((: FYI (dad), I'm studying okay and i do work hard okay?. when will they understand? only until i get into Oxford. in my dreams.
